I started with the purple one for my grand daughter, but we discovered too quickly that the frame tubing wasn’t sufficient for an adult weight… it got crushed!
So I built the green one, improving the length of the deck and adding an 450w electric hub motor, driving the front wheel. It was fast and fun, but I found the weight of the battery pack elevated like that, caused the back end to twist on turns.
I liked the idea and the ride was very comfortable… with one glaring problem.
I built it too low to the ground and with my added weight, they bottomed out on speed bumps and made tight banked corners impossible. I have moved on to modding mobility scooters instead, why stand when you can sit.
